It will take place on May, 2017 on Elba Island the Capoliveri Legend Cup, one of the most suggestive Mountain Bike Marathons in the world.
Since the success of the last year set the race among the big Mtb national events, promoters are working hard to create a "legendary" 8th edition, with plenty of new features: new paths, music and speakers throughout the paths, a inviting competitor's pack and, first of all, a limit of 1500 competitors to guarantee high quality and the best organization.
Not only Uci Marathon Series: this year the race will be valid for FCI Marathon Tour, Italian MTB Awards-Scapin, Appennino Superbike, Coppa Toscana and the "Prestigio" of MTB Magazine, the most important circuit of the international calendar for the Granfondo.
Capoliveri already hosted in 1994 the memorable stage of the Cross Country World Cup, when great cyclists such as John Tomac e Ned Overend challenged through the paths of Calamita Mount. From then on, passionates in Capoliveri worked to realize a beautiful Bike Park, with more than 100 km of paths across sea, hills and mines and creating year by year this event which is definitively an unmissable international event.
